Katie gets a new job when Kim's new partner at WOAK, BJ Greene (played
by Brian Gaskill) offers her a job. Of course BJ is Bryon Glass,
Katie's high school friend from the past that Maddie wants to use to
split Mike and Katie.
Anthony (who still hasn't figured out how this gets Henry and Katie
together)
After all the shenanigans that Katie (and Henry) pulled at WOAK years ago
(including poisoning Molly), I can't believe Kim would let Katie anywhere
near her station.
And if this guy is a new partner, does this mean Lily's selling her half?
---Jimmy
Well, Katie is family and she's changed over the years. I imagine that
Kim probably feels she deserves another shot. I have a feeling though
that Katie's bad girl history won't even be mentioned. Katie being at
WOAK reminds me of one of my favorite ATWT stories. I loved those
days. Don't think this will be as good though. How could it be with
Brian Gaskill involved?
<<And if this guy is a new partner, does this mean Lily's selling her

For some reason I thought Lily sold her half a long time ago, maybe
after Holden worked there. And isn't that the last time Holden
actually had a job?

Katie's family through Margo to the Hugheses? So, via her half-sister's
husband's step-mother?

Oh, I know it's a stretch, but I think that Kim would see Katie as family.
Anthony
And does this mean that in order to see Kimbo, we will have to suffer
through please-get-him-some-speech-therapy Brian Gaskill? Well, I guess
that's one way for TPTB to try to ensure that ppl won't ff his scenes, but
it's still a stretch.

Holden--the Kevin Federline of Oakdale....

I loved the WOAK setting, as well...one of the few good things of the
Lame-Lame-Laiman period.
I wish they had kept it around, and I guess we will be seeing it again. But
she really hasn't changed that much; she's still self-fixated and will
easily wreck other people's lives if there's something that she wants. Now
she's just better at fooling herself into thinking that she really isn't a
bad person.

Piece of cake in crOakdale. <g> The tenuous family links can be dredged up
when it's convenient to the plot, and lord knows a family linkage can be
made between virtually everyone in crOakdale.
> Oh, I know it's a stretch, but I think that Kim would see Katie as family.
I dunno....Katie got her fair share of the "Toots-inator"'s wrath once the
truth came out about her "All About Eve" stunts. Kim certainly doesn't view
Emily Stewart as "family," even though she was Emily's stepmother and
virtually raised Emily. The writers would simply have to ignore the previous
story or rewrite it heavily. Come to think of it, I can hardly imagine 2005
Henry as the shark-like station manager he was written to be in 1999, so
they've already forgotten some of the details of the previous plot!

Me too. I fondly remember she made up a stalker and in a sort of "boy
who cried wolf" scenario, actually wound up getting stalked in a
suspensfully ironic episode. It's sad, remembering what a fun character
Katie used to be before they had the wonderful idea of pairing her with
Mike Kasnoff.

That man is the cure for insomnia. No idea why he keeps getting hired
on soaps.

No, Lily hasn't sold her half on camera, but she hasn't worked there in
a very very very long time.
OK, was the Katie exercise video before or after she donated part of her
liver to Margo? The exercise video plotline was the last time I can recall
Kim saying she didn't like Katie. I would think the liver donation would
have gone a long way to repair any ill feelings between them.
