I was watching Y&R just now and was struck by how bizarre the casting
was for Rey's mother. Eva Larue is 54. Her new daughter-in-law
(Sharon Case) is 49! And Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is 39. The casting was
all over the place and it's just plain odd when Rey's mother is almost
the same age as his wife, and barely old enough to be his mother.
I wonder how Eva Larue feels about playing mother-in-law to a 49 year
old.

Anyway, Happy New Year.I'm sure everyone is as glad as I am that 2020
is almost behind us. And here's hoping that 2021 brings happiness to
all.

You can say that again!

I've been wanting to post but...new style of acting,(socially distanced), challenges to actors and staff, a lot of everything, and not enough of any one, to make it truly outstanding. So, wishing everyone here, and on the shows (behind and in front of the screen) a safe, happy, New Year!!!

Wishing you all a happy New Year and hoping this one will bring a lot of good times, enduring health and happiness to all.
And some better writing for Y&R.
