Watching Y & R after a long time

I haven't watched The Young and the Restless since 1991. What have I missed?:) A series of things have pointed me back to the show. I look forward to being back and part of the group again.

Eileen Davidson was let go, so they wrote her out pretty quickly by sending
her to New York to stay with Tracy after Jack basically ran her out of the
company. Jack was going to merge Jabot with Newman and be CEO of both which
left Ashley out. She decided that she needed to leave Genoa City and Abby is
staying with them there as well. It's no bother at all, if I know the answer
to something, I'm happy to fill you in.

Yes, she does look happier in this role, and a lot better,too. Little different make up and she's 10yrs younger.
