Hi, folks. I know this is a random question, but I've been racking my
brains with friends for months trying to figure out who Robin's three
godfathers are.

I know Frisco and Sean were two of them, but who was the third? 'Couldn't
have been either Duke or Mac, right?

Cheers,

aileen

Robin's third godfather was Buzz Stryker [sp?] I believe. He
was a doctor at GH that almost had a relationship with Anna
an awful long time ago....

Tony? Just a guess. I really have no clue.... Good question and now
one that will bother me until someone gives the solid answer. Of course,
Robin *does* have a plethora of "uncles".... When she was a little girl
is there *anyone* she did not call "uncle" at one point? ;)

Let's see... number three was Buzz... Buzzz (what *was* his
last name?) Striker! Or was it Stryker? It was Buzz Stryker!
Let's see... whatever happened with him? I vaguely recall he
had ties to Anna. And I seem to remember him being in the hospital
at one time many many moons ago, I think he was in a wheelchair?
Does anyone remember any details about this guy? Did he have a
daughter maye? No, I was thinking of Terry Brock... Great. I'm
going on vacation and will be internet-less as this eats away at me...

YES!!!!! I've been going crazy trying to come up with the answer. He
died as a result of some sort of tumor? He had a daughter too.

I think he was a friend of Jimmy Lee Holt (?). He was a doctor of
something, but I think he had a drug problem which eventually
surfaced, and maybe he left to go to a rehab... ?

Hi Aileen!

I think I have your answer for you. Does the name Buzz Stryker ring a bell.
If not, don't feel bad, he wasn't all that memorable IMHO. He was at one
time (1987ish) friends with or possibly dating Anna. I am 99% sure
that he was Robin's third godfather. Maybe someone out there can back me
up on this. All I remember was that he had a daughter named Sandy.
I know it definitely wasn't Mac, because he wasn't around back then.
I hope this helped.

He was a Dr. at GH. I remember something about him being a
POW in Vietnam (he became drug dependant and his wife remarried
while he was over there?). He was Jimmy Lee's friend. He had
a daughter with frizzy hair. Sandy was her name, maybe?

Jimmy Lee Holt was a contractor of sorts, not a doc, and he was married to Celia who
married the Grant Putnam (??) who was Earl the Pearl on Eight is Enough. Think she
was a Q somehow. Anyone remember? His daughter on the show is now doing Payless Shoe
Source commercials.

Who was Buzz Stryker? I am drawing a total blank on that one!!! Any distinguishing
characteristics that might jog my memory?

No, I think they meant that Buzz was the doctor.... He had a little
think with Anna. I so vaguely remember.

Wasn't Celia the daughter of Edward's brother? I want to say the
brother was Edgar Q. for some reason......???

Buzz Stryker (actor Don Galloway of Ironside fame) arrived in PC in
1985, the same time Robin did. The GH book indicates that he was
involved with Monica.

My husband thinks that Duke Lavery was the 3rd godfather.

Yes-and I am pretty sure that he asked Anna to marry him
though they never really developed a romance. She loved him "as a friend".

You're right. Buzz was the third godfather. He was friends with Anna and
also her neighbor. He wanted to be more than friends with her. He had a
huge crush on her, which she didn't notice for a long time, but the
audience could see it. Buzz was the first person that Anna confided in as
to why she was wearing that scar (as penance for getting the Swede killed
for being a double agent when SHE was really the double agent). He was
always there for her and for Robin and so when Robert left town, he
asked him to be a godfather too. But later Buzz had a head injury and they
started giving him painkillers and he became addicted to them. His
personality changed and he became bitter and lashed out at Anna telling
her that she took him for granted and although he would have given his
soul for her, she was always more interested in everyone and everything
else more than him. Well, eventually everyone realized his addiction, but
the relationship was never the same and he left town. I think he was going
somewhere to recuperate. While he was there his daughter Sandy came from
whom he had been estranged. She started working at the Frisco Jones Youth
Center and had a thing for Jimmy Lee. She was always dressed in jeans and
had a ponytail, a real tomboy. They had her go through a beauty "make
over" where she let her hair down, bought a pretty dress and tried to act
like a "lady" or whatever. Jimmy Lee's eyes popped open when he saw the
new Sandy, but their romance fizzled and she eventually left town too.
This was about 1988. Michele
