Thom Christopher was *brilliant* yesterday (and Wednesday) as the
"betrayed lover". And when he 'lost it' after Alex and RJ left, he
showed us all how much Carlo really loves (loved?) Alex. Even Antonio
was moved.

Oh "Powers That Be", I've heard the rumors... please, *please*, PLEASE
don't kill off Carlo! I'm begging you!

Funny, when I first heard the rumor, I didn't mind, because of how silly
the character had been ever since his return. Most of the dialogue between
he and Alex was worse than the worst, most contrived romance novel.
Last week I stopped FFing as much and I actually did enjoy his scenes. It's not
too late to salvage this character, but the die may have been already cast.

Me, too. I am now holding hope against hope that if Carlo is "murdered,"
(in order to get rid of Dr. Durbin, the most expendable of all the
characters who would be suspect, should Carlo indeed bite the dust), that
it turns out that Carlo only faked his death (yet again) and begins
pulling strings from the shadows. I'd sort of like to see what kind of
damage he could do and blame it on others, the way Todd did before his
return became common knowledge. And then the fallout once his deception
would be revealed could be very interesting. In the hands of decent
writers, that is.

But I would definitely miss Thom Christopher's slimy grin. *And* that
sweat on his upper lip, which is growing on me.

<de-lurking>

The thing that bothers me about it is that they've done it before. Carlo
was murdered several years ago & there was a big mystery about who did it,
etc., etc. Do we really need to go through the same storyline with the
same victim again?

Oh PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me what happened!!! I unexpectedly missed
it. I saw the day before when Alex was exposed as a sham of a woman. I
also missed today (monday) because every local channel was following a
fire near Malibu. I was burned that it was preemptied.
