It was on AOL. *Many* people jumped to Catherine's defense -- including
Catherine herself! She explained that she has a serious problem with
bulimia in the 80s, and that it had been affecting her metabolism. That's
why she was gaining weight while not eating a lot. Now, she has taken
some medication and is working with a nutritionist.

The person who started the whole firestorm assumed that she wears black
all of the time in order to "cover up." Catherine let everyone know that
she LOVES wearing the color black, and will always wear it, regardless of
her weight.

Having chatted with her many times online, I can say that not only is she
a beautiful woman, but a genuinely nice and funny one as well.

Well, Leslie, when you chat with her again, please tell her that this fan
doesn't care about fat or skinny, beautiful or ugly, but I care about talent
and I think she has TONS of that. She is one of the reasons I watch the City
at all.
