Okay, what's up with Dr. Jones? You know I love him, but he hasn't been
doing much lately. I thought he was going to have something going with
the whole Dr. Dorman/ hospital situation, but nothing doin'. So, I'm
open for suggestions as to what would liven up his character. Romance
candidates, storylines. . .anything. He is in danger of becoming a flatline!

I've said it once, I've said it twice, I've said it a billion times.

Simone. Simone Hardy. Dump Bobbie, and date Simone.

I liked the questioning his life bit they dropped so abruptly.

And he definitely deserves to have more of a storyline than standing in
the background watching as his wife tries to sort out her latest problem.
I have no problem with Jackie Z's acting (aside from the inappropriate
laughter and baby talk) and I've been watching her for so long that I would
HATE to see her go. However, if I had a limited amount of airtime to give
backburner characters and I had a choice of writing a story that would
feature Tony as its focus or Bobbie, I would definitely choose the former.
BJ died in May and Tony was highlighted, but come June we didn't see him
anymore. Instead the story went down the Damian bet route and Bobbie was
featured. Now, we have to get to the root of the dreams she is having and
he's regulated to saying, "there, there." Someone's got to remind these
actors to stop getting nominated for Emmys. More often than not, the PTB
punish them for doing it. Remember Gerald Anthony. Michele

I'm still not sure about that Si(ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)mone idea ---I rather
like his rapport with Laura but ultimately see him with a woman who is new
to Port Charles, an artist type maybe.

I totally agree with the second part, though. Tony Jones is like the
ocean: we think we know it, we take it for granted, we fail to see it's
potential and so it is dumped on. In reality, it is one of the last great
unexplored frontiers and holds discoveries that could boggle the mind. Oh
yeah, and they're both deeper than you think, too. :)

Well, Clyde, I'm certainly glad to see that someone else agrees
with me that Tony Jones and Laura Spencer are good together. I
was really struck by the chemistry between them when the Spencers
first returned to Port Charles. Remember when Bobbie was so glad
that Luke was back, but upset that Laura was with him? Remember
when L&L were staying at the Brownstone until they could get into
their house? Every time Tony and Laura had a scene together, all
I could think about what how great they are together, and there
would *have* to be a way to get Luke and Laura apart, and Laura
and Tony together....

Yes, there was a lot of energy and sexual tension there, plus a generous
helping of loverlike intimacy. By that, I mean that they finished each
other's sentences, and had the kind of body language that usually
indicates a complete knowledge of, and comfort with, the other person.
But Laura is not the only person Tony has this chemistry with -- even
though Felicia didn't return his low-intensity passion of last season,
their comfort with each other was fizzy and ripe with unspoken
possibilities. Gerald Maule has got something the female actors on GH can
work with -- so why do TPTB persist in putting with -- oh, I can't even
SAY it!!!! You know who I mean!
