GH: June Lockhart's character
Meredyth Purdy
Well, we all know that she plays Felicia's grandmother, but do you know
the character's name. I mean, other than "Grandmother". Maybe everyone
else knows this and I'm the last one to catch on, but....
I was looking at the Internet Movie Database
(htt://us.imdb.com/search.html) and I decided to pull of General Hospital
(because it also has TV shows even though it calls itself a "movie"
database). I was glancing down the list of cast members over the years
and I get to June Lockhart. It says that her character's name is
Kristina Maldonado. For anyone who doesn't remember Kristina Wagner's
maiden name, it's Maldonado. Heh, heh. I thought it was a funny joke.
:) Boy, those PTB never quit, do they?

That must have been an error because June Lockhart plays the character of
Felicia's grandmother, Maria Ramirez (Maria is pronounced like Mariah).
Kris' first married name was Malandro. Her maiden name is Crump. I bet the
database just got it confused. Michele

Yeah, I remember now.... I remember that when I first saw Felicia's
grandmother, and heard her name, I thought of the movie, "They Call the
Wind Mariah." And I *thought* that they'd gotten Kristina Wagner's "old"
name wrong.
For the record, they don't even have Stephen T. Kay among the cast
members, but include other non-contract players like Felicia Bell. Guess
it's not as reliable as one would hope to think.

Felicia's grandmother's name is Maria, pronounced muh-RYE-uh; her last
name is Ramirez.
Kristina Wagner's maiden name was not Maldonado. Her name when she
first came to GH was Malandro, which was her first husband's last name.

Oh, oh! I get it. That's why Frisco Jones now plays Fox Mulder on the
X-Files while Maurice Bernard is playing Maxwell Sheffield on The Nanny
and Stephen Nichols is coming on to GH to play Brenda's twin sister! It
all makes so much sense now! ;)

Actually I thought her maiden name was Kristina Malandro. Anyone else?
