Noooooooooo! Mike Webber was Ginny's (married to Rick) son back in either
the late 70's or early 80's. Many of us long time GH viewers disavowed
any knowledge of his existence as soon as he left the show. I think he
made teeth bleed. He must *never* come back - *ever* IMO.

Oh, I agree, I agree, I AGREE. Truly one of the most irritating soap children
in soap history, and that's covering some territory. I'm not sure whether it
was the actor or the simpering, ridiculous way the character was written, but
I'd just as soon the child NEVER come back to Port Charles.

Now as for Rick, and perhaps even Ginny, that would be fine. I would at least
like to see some resolution between Rick and Lesley, even if it's just a few
scenes in which he visits and they just sort of decide that, well, he's moved
on, and she's lost ten years, there's not really much between them anymore,
sayonara.

Let me second Mary's Nooooooooooooo! Little "mikey" as he was invariably
called was the single most annoying child in the history of GH. I loathed
him. And hismother, Ginny, she of the goldfish pop-eyes and the constant
tears. And, for that matter, Rick Webber himself. From time to time,
I see posts wistful for RIck's return, now that Lesley is back. I have to
say, I never want to see Rick Webber again, esp. if played by
Chris Robinson.

them, Ratsa Bookie, ceo FGC Stefan, member, fgc laura, alexis, helena,

How long will this thread get with ITAs? I was only watching on a
sporadic basis back then, Y&R and then DOOL were my main soaps, but that
kid was SOOOOOO irritating. I wanted to smack him every time he came
onscreen. I also hated Ginny Blake, though I liked the actress who
played her. And though I know Rick Webber is much loved by some, I'll
ditto Terry, especially the "esp. if played by Chris Robinson" part.

Remember the song played for Ginny & Rick? Okay, I won't keep you in suspense:
"I'm Never Gonna Dance Again" by George Michael's old group AHA. Why I held onto
*that* one I'll never know! Oh, God! I just remembered Richard Simmons giving his
exercise classes too! Noooooooooooo!

Not to be a stickler, but that wasn't George Michael's group.
He was in Wham! (w/ Andrew Ridgeley). a-ha was made up of 3 men from
Norway-- Morten Harket, Pāl Waaktaar and Mags Furuholmen. The song
you're thinking of was by Wham! (originally meant to be a solo for
GM), but is called "Careless Whisper."
