I didn't get to see it. I am wondering if she had a scarf tied around her
neck.? I can't image her without one.

In article <MVARGAS.3...@fhcrc.org>, MVA...@fhcrc.org (Mary)
says: I didn't get to see it. I am wondering if she had a scarf tied
around her neck.? I can't image her without one.

No, unfortunately, there was no scarf. Instead, her wedding dress had
one of those oh-so-tacky sheer above the boobs tops (what *is* that part
called, any way?) with a high collar. (Oh dear, I can tell that writing
the wedding reports for the small-town paper will never be my forte!).

BTW, wasn't the bedroom scene with Dullan hilarious? He carries her in & lays
her on the bed & her skirt practically smothers them. And the way her legs and
feet were protruding kind of limply from under it, like they'd been broken---
ugh!

From covering her breast, it was sheer until the neckline and then was
like a collar in the solid material. Maybe someone else can describe
it better than I. It was actually quite pretty, but I laughed at the
scene of her on the bed with Dylan because it stood right up in the
air.

Yes! I started to laugh myself. I suppose it was supposed to be romantic,
but the dress made that impossible. Reminded me of those old hoop skirts.

I thought Marty's dress made her look like a swan, but not necessarily in
a complimentary way. It accentuated her long neck, and the collar thingie
around her neck reminded me of that joke about the bride with the velvet
ribbon around her neck...need I say more?

I've seen many prettier wedding gowns both on tv and in person. This one
really made her seem very tall & skinny, elongated actually.

Sorry.

Nah, you're not the only one. I liked it, but I rarely see a wedding
dress I don't like. They all make me teary-eyed. :)

Nope, I liked it too. The only thing about it I didn't like was
if I tried to wear it I would look like an idiot, but it looked
pretty on Martyr.
