Not leaving spoiler space, since I'll be deliberately vague, but....

Just when I thought I was out -- this show has hooked me back in again!
Today, they got a handful of tears out of me. Well done, AMC. Well done!

(And, I can't wait until the rest of you catch up with today's episode so we
can talk about it!)

Amen. Although I will say that, again, there's only one thing that I liked. I
do hope that MarkH got to see it, though.

Well, I posted this right after Kendall told Zach outright that she'd slept
with Aiden. And I guess I was so delighted that there was no more
pussyfooting around, that they actually let Kendall show some emotional
growth, that she trusted Zach's love for her enough to be honest with him...I
was just delighted by that! And very moved by the performances of Thorsten
and Alicia (man, he loves her booty so much -- he is CONSTANTLY touching
it!).

I guess I should have seen it coming that they weren't going to get through
it easily, that he wasn't going to just forgive her a scene or two later and
carry her off to bed, but at that very moment when I saw Kendall do the right
thing, and not blame anyone else -- just come right out and say it! -- my
heart sang a little. I'm just a big ol' softie where Team Slater is
concerned, I guess. :-)

You didn't get a happy little jolt to see our girl, Kendall, after so many
years of self-destructive behavior, doing the right thing? The _mature_
thing? Going _directly_ against Erica's advice?

Sorry, today really irritated me. Although I did like Thorsten's hair today,

The scenes with Kendall and Zach were very strong. Both were saying
so much with their eyes and facial expressions that it really
ratcheted up the tension and anxiety of the scene. I liked it. I
really hope they can work through this. I also like that they went
the route of Kendall admitting it (after months of hemming and
hawing) and not have it come out by Greenlee blurting it out to Zach
in order to exact revenge on Kendall.

I also liked mature attitude that Zach displayed. It wasn't the sex
with another man that he was upset about (which would be the thing
most men would be pissed about) it was that she didn't trust him
enough to tell him the truth right away so they could deal with it. I
also enjoyed his description of how he was afraid to reveal *all* of
himself to Kendall for fear she would be afraid and leave him, but
that he did it because he loved her so deeply. Once again Kendall has
sabotaged her own happiness. She really is Erica's daughter.

My one nitpick was listening to Kendall talk about how she was dying
inside not knowing where Zach was and whether he was alive or dead.
Well Kendall, Zach was ACTUALLY fighting for his life in that bomb
shelter. Her going on an on about her pain just made me want Zach to
say "I'm sure it was difficult worrying but you weren't starving and
freezing and fighting for air all the while having to listen to
Greenlee whining. Tell me again how bad you had it?"

Todays show was superb!! (minus Rya$$ of course) <g>
Seriously, the emotion, the eyes, the way Zach held his temper and
spoke so softly. Most men would have been raging like maniacs. But he
used less words and spoke so much more!! You could just see/feel the
pain in both of them. Both actors deserve awards for their performance
today. I even liked the way Kendall tried to justify herself. Sure, we
all knew Zach was alive, but she didn't. My mom used to say there's a
difference between an excuse and a reason. Kendall had a reason. Yes
it was sex, but it was grief sex, not making love. And if Zach really
had been dead, Kendall would have hated herself even more because Zach
would not have been the last man to touch her in that special way. I
hope the writers let them work through this. I am a huge fan of the
Slater team also. The chemistry between them is so believable. The
emotions were just so raw. They just laid it all out there between
them. They needed this. Zach/Kendall have to be honest with each
other. It's who they are. And as painful as it was too watch, there is
an upside to this. We'll get to see Greenlee's reaction. Will she
forgive Aiden? Do I care? No, not really. I'll be pleased to see that
smug look knocked off her face. I am concerned that TPTB will have her
and Zach getting closer through this tho. But from spoilers I've read,
I think Zach/Kendall will eventually work through it. I sure hope so.

I usually delete each episode as soon as I finish watching, but I
saved this one. Gonna watch it again.

You wade throught dreck and mishegass for months and then monday's
episode appears and once again you remember why you love the soaps.

I am an admitted TK fan, but he does more with those tortured dark eyes
than most other actors with their entire bodies. That look of stunned
disillusion really moved me and for some reason the words and music of
the beautiful "Eriskay Love Lilt" came to mind.

I don't know what the writers plan, but kudos for realising you can show
despair, anger and pain without raising a fist.

My apologies for not including the excellent comments in the previous
posts. The fine art of cut, copy, paste etc eludes me. Believe me, I've
tried and the results were not pretty. :)

ITA, Irene. TK is the only reason I still tune in at all, but don't
stay on some days, because I'm on Ryan/Greenlee overload and they
usually ruin Kendall's time on air. Your description of Thorsten's eyes
is perfect, and those scenes did make that day worth while to watch. If
only he were given more opportunities to show what he's capable of.

Like Jason and others, I'm not looking forward to the coming Greenlee
theatrics and Kendall door mat routine again. Been there done that, too
many times. Can not understand why Kendall would want her for a friend
since Greenlee married Ryan. She should have been done with her then.

Frankly, I was a little surprised at his reaction. He knows she has
been trying to tell him for a long time now. At least she did, but he
didn't want an explanation, which I think is necessary. It wasn't just
some fling when he was gone, It was a tragic mistake when all hope was
lost. I think it was incredibly stupid, but then that's Kendall and
that's a soap!

This was posted yesterday, and I wrote it pretty much the moment the Kendall
actually told Zach what she'd done -- with no rationalization, no excuses, no
pussyfooting around the truth. She just _told him_. What I said to Donna
(who also didn't grok my tears and joy) was that it warmed my heart to see
this character we've watched grow up show such maturity -- finally, a
character has some emotional growth! -- and she did was SHE thought was
right, even defying her mother's wishes. I thought it was a wonderful moment
(although I should have seen the one-two punch coming of Zach being crushed
in the next scene!).

Kendall and Zach both had me tearing up, but I know exactly what you
