General Hospital studio location

Does anyone know the location where General Hospital is filmed? I'm
going to be in Hollywood later this week, and was wondering if I could
visit where it is filmed.

It's in Studio City, but from what I can tell they don't do set tours
anymore for the general public. Someone else may have more
information.

I hate to contradict Amy, but it isn't in Studio City. It's in LA.

My bad. I knew what I meant, since I recently drove by there, but

It's on Prospect Avenue in LA. The studio is in a really out of the way
residential neighborhood. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Hollywood
(by the Chinese Theater/Star Walk). It's forks off one of the main
drags
(either HOllywood or Sunset). BTW- it took me a lot of looking to find
Prospect Ave. It's not that big a street by LA standards. :)

It's at 4151 Prospect Avenue. You can drive by and see what the studio
looks like from the outside. But, as far as I know, that's as close as
one can get without a sponsor from the show. They don't conduct tours
for the general public like some studios do. Sometimes tours are
auctioned off at fan events. For those tours, a particular actor will
volunteer his/her time to take the visitor around the set.
However, even without a studio tour, it's still fun to drive by and see
the place where our favorite folks work. It does seem strange that it's
in a residential area. Be sure to get a map of L.A. Have fun!

He's left the show at the moment, but says if he doesn't find success
elsewhere he would definately consider returning.
