Hi all! Due to a busy work schedule, I've been unable to
post as much as I'd like... but this needs to be shared....
To set the background, let me say that I've been watching
GH since 6th grade (Luke/Laura, Scotty/Heather, Noah Drake)
and faithfully since 92 (Brenda/Jagger/Karen/Jason, Jenny/Ned).

So, one night this week as my hubby & I were going to sleep,
I started discussing GH, and how happy I was that Bobbie was being
paired with Gerry Jacks. I prattled on a bit about how the
NG had been discussing this, and most Bobbie fans were happy,
but that he was bad for her. My husband then turned to me and
said:

"Bobbie?? She's a scraggy old crone who's twice as old as him.
She could be his mother?!! How could they put them together".

Needless to say, I was not amused! Although I didn't send him
out to sleep on the couch, we did wind up having a *huge* faux
fight over Bobbie & the age difference, and those EYES! He
commented on the EYES!! It was funny to hear his dissortation
on the merits of Bobbie Spencer....

And all the while I felt a guilty pleasure because I realized
that my husband was a GH fan by default. He knows characters,
plot lines, histories, etc., and although he says he's "humoring"
me, I know he really likes the show. And then came the humor of
thinking of another man (Adrian!!!) while in bed with my husband!
All in all it was a very humorous way to end a stressed out day.

This is too funny. I am easing my hubby into it and PC and OLTL..
Years ago, when L&L were first married, etc, he actually watched GH.
He says it's because he was selling real estate and there was nothing
else to watch, yeah right. <eg> Now when I am watching my tape he
will pass through and make comments about how Alan and Monica have
aged, Scotty, etc. Now he has started asking questions. One day
he passed through during OLTL and ask..."Is Bo still is jail?"
I couldn't help laughing because I didn't realize that he knew
Bo was ever in jail!

So slowly I am sucking him in.....

Are you trying to imply it wasn't! (clandestine gaze at Adrian)
Silly boy, you simply *mustn't* start rumors of this ilk... :)
What would Marty say? <vbeg>

hmc...@mindspring.com (Roser) found the time to say:

| Occasionally my hubby slips up and I realize that he is paying
| more attention than he admits to. About a month ago, he hurt
| his neck and the doctor prescribed hydrocodone for the pain.
| I said nothing to him about hydrocodone being part of a GH
| storyline, but when the first dose had really kicked in, Hubby
| said, "Ya know, that guy who plays Alan Quartermaine does a
| really good job of acting like he's on this stuff."

You really should write that into a fan letter. That is
rich.
