I'm spotty with my OLTL viewing. Some years I watch more heavily than
others, but after browsing around IMDB I discovered that Tina was
briefly played by Kelli Maroney (best known as RH's Kimberly) and
Marsha Clark (best known as Hillary Bauer on GL and Judge Fitzpatrick
on DOOL) circa 84/85. The only Tina I really clearly/fondly remember
is Andrea Evans. I know there were a couple after her in the 90s, who
were pretty disposable but I don't at all remember Maroney and Clark.
Who does and can recap their portrayals of Tina.

Andrea Evans had left the show after her firstr stint as Tina. They
wanted her back a couple of years later but she either wasn't available
or was playing hard to get. I don't know which, but Kelly Maroney was
brought on to play the role for a few weeks until Andrea Evans came
back. I like K.M.'s Tina. Very down to earth sort of person as I recall.

She originally left because a stalker was threatening her. I think this is
why she never came back, despite having enjoyed playing the role.

They were both in and out so quick that you didn't really miss
anything. From what I vaguely remember is that Kelli Maroney's Tina
was as dumb as rocks, in that vapid cheerleader sort of way. A real
interchangable "blond type" who viewers immediately rejected as Tina.
She was there for about six months (reportedly quitting because Paul
Rauch kept making passes at her.) Marsha Clark replaced her at years
end, but if you blinked you missed her. She was only there for about a

month or two. Very un_Tina-like. Sophisticated and composed. In Feb.

'85, the show managed to lure back Evans, who knew how to play the part

right.

Still no word on "Tina-watch," is there?

*sigh*

It's a shame that TPTB don't value the character enough to recognize
how incomplete the show is without her presence!

I too am very spotty on OLTL, its been years since I really paid any
attention to it. I have enough trouble sitting still for GH, but I remember
a Tina, bottle blonde, really cute again in the ditzy blonde cheerleader
type. But I cannot for the life of me figure out who played her then---she
had two small children with Cort, both blonde and small---about 4-7 years
old. I looked at all the people they have listed as playing Tina and none of
them was the Tina I remember--they have the history as:

Andrea Evans (1978 to 1981, 1985 to 1990)
Nancy Frangione (1980; temporary)
Kelli Maroney (1984 to 1985)
Marsha Clark (1985)
Karen Witter (1990 to 1994)
Krista Tesreau (1994 to 1997)

But I looked at all of them and none of them match the Tina I recall. Did
someone else play her that they didn't list?

Thanks!

Laura

And I just answered my own question. It was Krista Tesreau---she's
changed!!! :) I thought she was a pretty good Tina.

Dena Higley seems to be deliberately not returning her. I think
they're scared to cast another actress to play the role and in the
meantime are waiting on AE to finally agree to come back. Stupid
really. Meanwhile as more years past since the last time Tina was in
town, her necessity becomes less and less.

Krista Tesreau was the one who was messing with David Vickers during
the whole storyline when Todd became super rich after finding out he
was Victor Lord's son.

I liked her portrayal of Tina, but favor Andrea Evans out of all the
others.

Check that! It was Karen Witter who was the Tina involved with David
Vickers. My mistake..

No, you were right the first time! Krista Tesreau played the Tina who
willingly slept with the guy she thought was her brother.

As I was reading your original post I thought clearly you were talking about
Krista Tesreau. ... How is it you think she's changed? <G> Curious, you know

Maroney played Tina when the character was re-introduced after
Andrea Evans' first departure. It was very brief. My vague
recollection of her was being 'spunky' and wearing Junior-league
type suits, when she was an assistant to Asa. Clark I can't even
remember.
