Apparently at the Chicago Con samples were displayed of MST
Comics.

Can anyone give us any more information than that? Barbbb?
Sampo?

Hey Jess
Umm, as far as I'd seen, there wasn't any
MST3K comics bein' displayed. They did
have a sample copy (Ashcan) of Trace's
comic book there to buy though so maybe
that was what they (whomever said it ) were
talking about. I didn't see anything else
though or I would have posted about it.
All we can do is check up though.
If i find out there was one, I'll be one poopied-out
mstie.

Did Ancient Astronauts named Jess Nevins <jjne...@ix.netcom.com> once
write the following? Read the book:

Are you sure it wasn't samples of Trace's new comic? I'd heard that he was
going to be representing it at a con in Chicago.

I got this from a Con report which specifically said that the
MST crew would be working on old comics - Dell/Gold Key - and
that this was in addition ot Trace's new comic.

Well, your news kinda shot down my opinion last week that the Best
Brains crew were probably busy to do a MST3K comic book. If this news
is true, will the MST3K comic be published by Acclaim or a
yet-to-be-named publisher under Western (since it currently owns the
rights to Dell/Gold Key books)?

It's possible that BBI licensed out the MST3000 trademark to other
people who will make the comic book. "The MST crew working on old
comics" could mean the characters of Mike, Crow, and Tom, not the
writers and performers behind them.

However, I'm remaining skeptical about this until we hear from
Barbbb, Sampo, or Brian Henry.

Scarily enough, I remember reading a Wizard last summer that said it was
in the works.
