Take a look at Animaniacs #29: "The Return of Hello Nurse" - There's a
panel with several ninjas popping out of various places with shouts of
"Hikeeba", "Gymkata", "Manos", and "Eegah"!

(Now, I know these are intential, as I've talked to the writers of
this one (Sean and Jenn), and both are admitted MST3K fans, and although
they've gotten close with MST3K refs (such as 'Torgon's House of
Pancakes'), this was the first obvious ref. However, they were
surprised when I mentioned juliewa's secret ninja force, and didn't
realize how close they came to refering to that :-)

Did Ancient Astronauts named mne...@engin.umich.edu (Michael K. Neylon)
once write the following? Read the book:

Was this episode before or after the "Potty Emergency" episode that showed
a spaceship with "MST3K" written on the side?

Also back in 92 there was a series by marvel called "Bill & Ted's
Excellent Adventures" which was written by Evan Dorkin (writer & artist on
this and "Milk & Cheese" and an epsiode or 3 of "Space Ghost Coast to
coast") Well in one Issue our old pals from the movie are running through
a corridor of some sort when they mention "Totally MST3000, wholey
unconvincing" ,which still to this day i wonder if they mean MST is cheap
(there IS a reason for that!!) or those doors were, either way the series
died after only 12 issues.

Either way, I've still got them bagged and boarded.

Dorkin's a genius, even when working for hire!

I thought that was an episode of the TV show, not of the comics...

In any event: it would be after, since Sean & Jen have only been
writing for the comics for a little over a year.

Why do I know this? They're two good friends of mine whom I should
call/write more often....

Hey, have any of you read the Grifter (of WildC.A.T.S. fame)
one-shot, written by steven T. Seagle? It has Grifter commenting on a
laboratory saying it looks like "something that came out of Mystery
Science Theatre 3000"

Actually, I was angry at the lameness of the MST3K intro in "Supreme" #3.
I thought is was pretty hack and unfunny, and a little upset at the
blatant copyright infringement, too.

In Transformers:Generation 2, issue 9 (I think) there is a two-page spread of
a lot of very badly mangled robots. The ruins of Tom and Crow are clearly
visible among the rest.

Oops! My mistake. I thought you *were* talking about the tv show. (I
just thought you meant Animaniacs episode #29.)

Also, a ways back when they did a parody of _Home_Improvement_, they hsow
a "crow bar", and right next to it is a picture of Crow. (-:

And if MAD Magazine qualifies as a comic, I've seen Tom Servo and Crow

all over the place in there. Any spoof of an outer space movie usually
has a sketch or two of the 'bots in the background.

Hey, I just bought Animaniacs #29.... and haven't read it yet. You spoiled

Next thing you know you'll tell me the big secret from "The Crying
Game"...

She's got a WHAT?!

Though I haven't seen THE CRYING GAME, I feel safe in replying:
