O.K. I've been watching this show for several weeks now and I do
find it quite amusing, sometimes hysterical. However, of all the
running gags and jokes, there's one thing that I just don't "get."

Could someone please explain to me Precious Roy? I mean, what...what
exactly is his deal?! Is he a takeoff on something/someone? He's
soooooo OUT THERE. He is funny - ocassionally, but....well he's
so OUT THERE.

This weekend I was completely nocturnal, and I loved it.
I kept the TV on the whole time I painted, which was the entire night, and
I haven't slept since Saturday afternoon. If MTV were half as cool during
the day as it is at night, then it would be the greatest channel ...
"Sifl & Olly"! Yay! I just got off of the phone with my mom trying to
explain Precious Roy to her. I couldn't do him justice. All I could tell
her was my descriptions of the show, and that if I were to create a show,
it would probably end up being something like this. My mom and I
frequently talk to each other with our hands. I don't mean sign language,
I mean I have a little hand character named Snerd. He doesn't talk much,
but he's amazingly emotive and loves to dance, so he's not like me at all.

I really need some sleep ... SUCKERS!

I think he's just a nut. I mean, the whole idea is a take-off of home shopping

I tend to agree. S&O seems like a show where goofy rules, but there don't
need to _be_ any goofy rules. If you get my drift, 'cause I'm not sure I
do.

Precious just seems like one of the random bizarro Calls from the Public
or Interview Time guests, in that he doesn't need to make any sense.

The Pleasure Chest was nothing special, just adult videos. We must
demand that Sifl & Olly return to it's rightful time slot or an earlier
slot, as long as they return to the tube A.S.A.P.

Exactly! All they showed on Nickelodeon were the same episodes over and
over. I stopped watching because of that. At least Mike Judge never had
this problem. Most recently John K. bitched about the South Park guys
and Mr. Hanky, claiming that he originated the talking poo concept. Mmm,
is it possible he's jealous that Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the next
hot cartoonists and he's a has-been?

Heads up, got some news thats Crescent Fresh!

Sifl and Olly are back on at the ungodly hour of 1:00 am Eastern. No,
not new ones yet--last night they picked up right where they left off
a week or two ago. (Could tell due to the "coming up" tease on the
preceding show.)

My fav S&O song is their lullaby they did cause it rocked. And anything episode

Me too! It was the first real laugh-out-loud moment I'd had in a long time
while watching television. Well, that and finally seeing Fugitive Alien.

The weird thing is, they're doing Dracula: The Musical in Halifax as we
speak (or as I type)...so it really *is* the first Canadian Dracula!

Interesting...
Are you sure there's never been one before?
And I love the little discussion before that:
Olly: <with fake teeth> "mmm dmm fuuurr cnndnn drclla.."
Silf: "What?"
Olly: <without the teeth> "I'm the first Candian Dracula"
Silf: "But, dude, you're not Canadian..."

Yep, right up there with Adam Sandler (I can't stand his movies, but he
did a killer Axl).

Yeah, and the funny thing is Captain Joe was in all these great 60s
Japanese gangster flicks, and it's sad to see him reduced to doing
Fugitive Alien. And his weird cheeks....he had them surgically altered to
look that way! Go figure....

Actually it wasn't that bad. The music was in a sort of Les Miz mode and
the cast was quite good. Of course, Renfield steals the show...
