That infamous creation has developed new abilities!! It has now been
borg-enhanced, and is invading computers world-wide!!!!

<PANIC>!

How do I know this? I. Am. A. Victim.

I was going on my merry little way yesterday, cleaning out the drek on
my system - you know the drill. Old smut, games I haven't played in four
years, programs missing a data file.... and what did I find but a temp
directory that I hadn't made, filled with files called "n345tf1.xyz"...
"n365jf1.abc"... and so on. bemused, I opened one of the smaller ones
(they ranged in size from 50 k to 4 megs....) only to find....

<drum roll>

An unMSTed copy of "Enterprized".

In a panic, I rushed to the others. A Gul's Revenge. A Royal Wedding.
And the horror of horrors ..... TIMESPEEDER!!!!!

*None* of which I downloaded myself.... that I remember..... And all of
them were at full strength... the antidote of riffs was missing.... I
couldn't take it any longer..... my brain exploded.

Put another notch on your belt, Stephen, and sell the Gas to Pearl.
You've won.

Hilary, Abdicating her titles to Marrissa.

I give up.

Hmmm.... this sounds like a set of bad posts we had last summer. Someone
with way too much time on thier hands posted everything from PropinQuity
to my works, in files that when downloaded automatically put the files
on your harddrive in random places and filenames. The person has been
dealt with.

one more reason to fear the Mighty Marrissa.

Quickly! Have you loaded any suspicious programs lately? Such as

she disclaims all responsiblity for the files on Hilary's computer.

And yeah, I know he's all grown up now and stuff, but I refuse to accept that

I'll go with you Jello, let me just grab some of my more useful gadgets. I
should be able to help you a lot in Marrissa's universe since I'm not an adult
and as such I have more power than you.

Yeah, I thought so...I'm also thinking about a Vorlon (because they're
from the Babylon 5 universe, and you know what happens to cute kids
there ;)) and maybe Sasami from Tenchi Muyo!(because she'd be even
younger than Marrissa). Though not both at once, of course.

Andrew "NO .SIG MAN" "Juan" Perron, who portrayed Marrissa in the
episode "Disaster", anyway?

In that case, we'll bring Sailor Moon as well. And if that doesn't work I
challenge Marrissa to a deathmatch in Goldeneye. With the following rules. First
to five points wins. The level is Complex and the special weapon is proximity
mines. If I win, Hilary gets all her titles back. If I lose, Marrissa gets me.

In that case, I create the Tom Universe. It's modeled after my mind. I will
use a dimensional portal and pull Marrissa from her universe into mine. The
Tom Universe is similar to the Marrissa Universe but with a few changes.
First, Ratliff has no creative control over it. Second, time flows normally,
which means Marrissa will be the age she'd be in a normal logical universe.
Third, I have creative control over it.

Hmmm, shame your creative license doesn't work in my universe.

Suspended animation. Hmm, If Jackie was 4 or 5 when Marrissa transferred off the
Enterprise and Marrissa was say 15. Then since Jackie is 16 or 17 now, that would
make Marrissa between 26 and 28. Marrissa's an adult now!! The Ratliff gas will
work on her now!!

Ouch, I thought about that too hard. My brain hurts now.

How about if a take a piece of non-abrasive rope and tie one end around one of

Hurting Marrissa is not advisable, especially in her own universe.

Besides, Marrissa does give hazard pay.

Stephen Ratliff, who reminds you that Marrissa may still need more
babysitters, Tom has apparently decided not to do it again (not that I
blame him. I don't babysit Marrissa's children)

It occurs to me that the children of a person so important and
nigh-omnipotent as Marrissa would either tend to coast through their
childhoods ("You can't make me! My mom'll blow up your homeworld if
you make me do my homework!") and fail to learn any of the common
decency or sense of welfare for others that makes someone a good
person, instead growing up into petty, cruel, arrogant beasts who use
their mother's reputation to get away with whatever they want, or
they'll be forced to try to excel by their mother's unreasonably high
standards and control-freakishness even if they are incapable of
anything more than mediocrity, and will grow up with a deep-seated
hatred and fear of the parent who tormented them as children. This
second option I dub the Clayton Debra Susan Forrester Effect. (Ooh,
look! The rare and mysterious on-topic statement. Let's watch...)

So, either Marrissa's descendents will become tinpot dictators ruling
over the fragmented remains of the once-majestic Federation, or
they'll wind up in caves running their prisoners through cheesy
holodeck simulations in a vain attempt to take over a world so as to
gain the mother's love and acceptance they never got as children.

Hey, Stephen, throw in a little time travel or stasis and either one
of these possibilities would make for a pretty good story. Of course,
for you to write them, you would need to admit that Marrissa isn't
able to run the entire Federation single-handed and still have the
time and energy left over to raise her brood of children properly, so
I won't hold my breath.
