At this week's Comic-Con, The RiffTrax guys announced that, in addition

LOS ANGELES ‹ Ernest Borgnine, who delivered an Academy Award-winning
performance as the lonely Bronx butcher looking for love in the 1955
drama łMarty˛ and displayed his comic side in the 1960s as the star of
the popular TV sitcom łMcHaleąs Navy,˛ has died July 8 of apparent
kidney failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center here. He was 95. MSTies
will remember his performance as the grandfather in the movie in episode

PALM SPRINGS, CALIF.­Actor Richard Lynch, who employed his platinum hair
and scarred face to play villainous characters in such films as łBad
Dreams˛ and łThe Sword and the Sorcerer,˛ was found dead at his home
Tuesday. He was 76. MSTies will remember him as Noel in the movie in
