The Paley Center for Media in New York City will hold a tribute to and
retrospective of the great Ernie Kovacs on Tuesday, April 12, and Joel
Hodgson (a big fan of Kovacs and winner of the Ernie Kovacs Award at the
Dallas Film Festival) will be on the panel. Keith Olbermann will
moderate the panel, which will also include Robert Smigel (the creator
of łTV Funhouse˛ and Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog), George Schlatter
(executive producer of łRowan & Martinąs Laugh-In˛ ), Jolene Brand
Schlatter (a performer in Kovacs specials) and Ben Model (the curator of
the The Ernie Kovacs Collection DVD Set, see below).
