Does anyone know what the difference is between the FLE and ENX lamps that are both specified for the Altman Comet follow spot? They are both the same color temperature but the Altman literature states that the FLE lamps has a correction factor of 1.0 vs. 0.6 for the ENX. Unfortunately, I don't know what that means......
Thanks!

Means to multiply the photo metric data by the correction factor, which for values less than one means a degradation of the spots specs for the alternate lamp.

Both the ENX and FLE have a rated life of 75 hours, the FLE has a higher light output. If one is getting unusually short life spans from these lamps, check for corroded or pitted socket contacts. A socket in poor condition can shorten the life of any lamp.
