Apart from the Brian Rix relationship, I have authoritative written
material to back up all the above - but I have absolutely nothing to
say that Michael and Susannah York are related.
Michael York was born on Mar 27 1942, in Fulmer, England
Susannah York was born on Jan 9 1941 in London and grew up in a remote
Scottish village.
Did Susannah York's parents move to Fulmer in order to have Michael
and then callously abandon him? Was one of them adopted? Or are they
really completely unrelated?
I tend to think it's the latter, but if anyone out there has
documentary evidence, do let us know.

Mr & Mrs York felt that it would be safer outside rather than IN London!!
Perhaps Mr York was in the forces & Mrs York & Susannah were
staying with Grandma!!!! - therefore Michael born in Fulmer, Bucks!

There is no reference to a film of that title in Michael York's
filmography, and I can't find any reference to the film anywhere in
my extensive film reference library.
And furthermore, Susannah York's real name is Susannah Fletcher.

unless anyone out there's got a REALLY convincing explanation...

OK, I HAVE now found a film of that (French) title, and concede it
exists and that Michael York is in it...
... but you haven't answered the second part of my question - if
Michael York and Susannah 'York' are related, how come she's got a
different surname and grew up in a completely different part of the
country?
