im hoping to perform this show as our end of school profuction this year.

does anyone know where there is a copy of the playscript...(from the film or
west london show) on the web somewhere??

Are you crazy or just naive? First of all this is the wrong newsgroup (CCBB is
a musical, not a play). Secondly, the current West End production (soon coming
to Broadway) is not available for production nor is it published. Thirdly,
there are no other versions of the screenplay for the stage available. Lastly
- pick another play. There are several versions of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE
FACTORY (aka WILLY WONKA) out there with and without music. Try that.

no im not naive just trying to find out some info....

im a primary school teacher looking for help off anyone ....ive tried other
groups ...i just thought there might be some helpful souls in here...not
assholes

Well, if it is any consolation I am a year 6 teacher trying to find a
decent musical to do for our end of year production too and we thought of
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang aswell! I can't see why people have to be so
rude.... it was only an enquiry. I will continue looking and perhaps even
write my own version! If I have any luck I will message you. Good luck
with your hunt! Our school did Bugsy last year and that went down a treat.
There is always Oliver if you are desperate! A little sombre though! Have
fun!
