Broadwayworld and other theatre websites

So, generally speaking, what websites would anyone here go to
for general updates on the world of theatre? I am particularly
interested in regional and local, of course.

I used to frequent the plays of one local group that is now
"on hiatus". I'm not sure what that means in context, but
I'm guessing that "hiatus" is a euphemism for "we're
disbanding, but want to leave the door open." It's
primarily the artistic director. I don't know how the group
is structured, but he has accepted some kind of position
elsewhere and has essentially shut down the group to move
into this new role.

In any event, this group claimed to have several
nominations and a couple awards from a website called
BroadwayWorld.com. I have no context regarding the value
of such nominations and awards. Now that the group is
(more or less) gone, I wonder if there is a site that
is considered reputable for regional/local groups and
reliable reviews.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
