Does anyone know the name of the ballad that was dropped in Wicked? I
know that "Where's the Party" was dropped for "Dancing through
Life"...but I don't know the name of the ballad. Can anyone help me
out? Thanks!

Probably something that was dropped after the workshop. I don't think
it ever made it into the actual show. Where's the Party is the only
show people have mentioned that was dropped.

I thought that title was Which Way's the Party? Before The Wizard and
I was written, Elphaba sang something called Making Good. But the
Original Poster is correct: there was another ballad in there,
eventually replaced by As Long As You're Mine. Schwartz played it for
us; I just can't remember the name of it.

A ballad cut from WICKED was included in SNAPSHOTS, the Stephen
Schwartz jukebox show I saw in Issaquah (near Seattle) earlier this
year. Was it "Making Good"? I'll see if I can find my post about it
at the time ...

Can't find it in the thread on SNAPSHOTS. I'm pretty sure the cut song
included there was "Making Good", which was replaced by "The Wizard and
I", right?

Not the ballad, but I found these lyrics while surfing:

That's the song they used in SNAPSHOTS. I think both musically and
lyrically, THE WIZARD AND I is superior.
