Not that I want *any* more jukebox musicals, but DM would be a hell of
a lot more appetizing than the Bee Gees.
Just about anything, with the exception of Michael Bolton, would make
a more interesting theatre score than the Bee Gees.

Blame the Rangers fans (for my irony-impairedness, I mean) - I'd already
had enough of them on Tuesday evening, and they didn't even start
rioting until Wednesday (unfortunately, I had to be in Manchester city
centre on Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon).
(I have some sympathy with the idea of Scottish independence. I have no
sympathy at all with Scottish football fans who, as guests in an English
city, drunkenly sing sectarian songs in the street. And that was just
Tuesday. Wednesday was worse.)

Didn't David Bowie write the songs for the musical film "Steve Zissou
and the Life Aquatic" ? That was my favorite musical of recent
years ... who knew Anjelica Huston could do underwater ballet?
