Just getting ready for our last weekend of our production of
"Something's Afoot" here in Queens, NY. Quite the fun show, actually!
The few people I know who were familiar with the show said the music
was pretty bad, but, truthfully, I really enjoy the songs! I play
Nigel, so I get the money note in "The Legal Heir".
Anyway, the set is killer with some RIDICULOUS murders, but it's all
in good fun!
Up next - Brad! The Sequel

I played "Miss Tweed" (with the help of age makeup and hopefully good acting)
in 1992, and I have just agreed to direct a production for a community theatre
here in Virginia next spring. Nigel's a fun part and I'm glad you've enjoyed
playing it. Some call the show a poor-man's Drood, but that's ok. It's fun to
do and entertaining for the audience. Have a great closing weekend - and
"Carry on!". -- Carole

Ditto Pat Carroll.

And Jean Stapleton who did the video.
I didn't realize there was a video of this show. I'm going to do a web-search.
Do you know if it's still in print?

I saw it on Showtime years ago as well with Jean Stapleton and my
dearly missed Andy Gibb, and it was a fabulous production! I have
seen that production on a list (bootleg list) and shall find out the
availability if you like. It may take a month or so, my contact is
going on holiday till July. There is someone known as "Beeway Kid"
and he has the master copy. If you locate him before I do, he'll sell
you one gladly. Good Luck.
