I'll be in the city for this great concert & am planning to take in a
show in the afternoon. Any ideas what musical I can see at the last
minute....without going to the TKTS booth? Any help would be great.

If you're not vehemently opposed to TKTS for any other reason than a very long
wait, allow me to try and persuade you to change your mind. You get through the
line very quickly. I went twice this summer and got tickets in less than an
hour both times. And 45 minutes for orchestra seats for "Chicago."

Hi there

I will also be in NYC on Sept. 15th and was hoping to get some
information about Broadway on Broadway since this is my first time.

1.) When is the best time to arrive in Times Square to get a good
view?
2.) What time does it begin?
3.) What shows are participating this year?
4.) Is this the same concert that takes place in Shubert Alley, isn't
it a little tight in there?
5.) What time does it conclude ( usually)? I am wondering if I will
have time to eat before attending Into the Woods at 3:00.

I am really excited about attending this concert because I have always
had to settle for reading about it on playbill online.

Thanks again

Always,
Christopher

I'm guessing AT LEAST 10am. I don't remember when people started really
packing in last year, but...

>2.) What time does it begin?

11:30am to make up for the fact we have more shows than last year. (a half hour
earlier)

>3.) What shows are participating this year?

It's still fluid, but I can say the Producers and Hairsrpay are in, as well as
numbers from Amour, Kiss of The Vampires (as of yesterday, anyway) Man Of La
Mancha, and even the little girl from Hollywood Arms is going to sings a
number.

No, this is pretty much every musical (with a few exceptions) that's running or
will be running on Broadway this year, with the plays represented by
introducers - believe me, every play was asked - some chose not to participate.

it SHOULD be over by 1:30pm or so (we hope) which should give you time to grab
a quick bite at Ollie's on 44th before your show...
