As many SF fans know, "Slash" fiction has its roots in fan fiction,
and most recently centered itself on the relationship between Kirk and
Spock in the original Star Trek series. We thought we might see what
other strange couplings we could come up with.

Slash Fiction Stories We're Afraid to Read

Spoiler Spacee??

(Of course, since everything is a rerun of other shows, I don't know
why there needs to be spoiler space, but...)

Upcoming Enterprise Hinted

Rick Berman, executive producer of UPN's Star Trek: Enterprise, told
the official Star Trek Communicator magazine that the third season
will wrap up with a finale called "Zero Hour," which will air May 26,
according to a report on the TrekWeb site. Berman told the magazine
that viewers will learn a reason for T'Pol's strange behavior this
season, and a future episode may reveal that she has become addicted
to small doses of Trellium-D, the substance known to cause instanity
in Vulcans from "Impulse."

Berman also said that an upcoming episode, "E2," will put the
Enterprise into an encounter with a future version of itself.

"May reveal"? Seems like he just did.

Nice and vague. I wonder if it means a version of NX-01 further up the
timeline or another Enterprise altogether.

Personally I'd like to see Cap'n Pike or Cap'n April come along. I don't
care about seeing the 79th century Enterprise-XJ47.

Interesting. Since it was the first it can't be like "Yesterday's
Enterprise".
Lets hope it is as well done with great ship shots. :-)

[AP]- It's official now. Rick Berman, executive producer of Star
Trek: Enterprise, reacting to UPN's Friday night cancellation of
Enterprise, midway though the third season: "Well, the ratings never
materialized after we changed the theme, showed T'Pol's tiny boobs and
looked for the Xindi WMD. We modeled Archer upon as incompetent a
failure as George W. Bush and both our show and America suffered as a
result. Our only sorrow is that we will leave the air before that
turd leaves the White House next year. And I can reveal who "she" is:
Janet Jackson. We were going to do an "Ebony and Ivory" lesbian scene
with T'Pol but those plans went out the window after the Super Bowl.
In closing, all I can say is "screw the fans and UPN." Enterprise

Hopefully, that also means that, then again, a future episode may not.

The *last* time the character of T'Pol was subjected to such a
monumentally stupid plot development, those responsible for the show
at least had the legitimate excuse they were trying to fight the
stigma suffered by AIDS victims.

There has been NO DECISION made as yet on Enterprise. And I hope and pray
they will keep the show. Just so I can laugh at your minor attempts at
humor.

100 episodes usually doesn't happen until the 5th season and that
is when a huge portion of the money is made for them so I really
don't see Enterprise being canceled until after that milestone is
reached. They would lose a shit load of money to do it before
then.

True but Enterprise's 100th episode will be the 4th season finale. 26 +
26 + 24 (the show will have only 24 episodes this season instead of the
26 it had it the first two seasons) + 24 (assuming tha 24 episodes will
air next season) = 100.
