You're a lazy bastard! OK, so what brought this on?
I've watched Star Trek. I don't remember Telos ever being mentioned in it.
As always, you're probably too lazy even to get that right. It was a planet
mentioned in a Star Wars computer game.
Or perhaps you mixed up Telos with Vulcan.
So why not work out what you mean. What difference does it make anyway?
Don't ever claim you're no troll again Yads.
Telos has never been in Star Trek (to my knowledge). Vulcan has. It was
suggested as the name for a possible 10th planet back in the 1800s. And you
know that - you were involved in a thread about it back in 2002, in which
you stated (in your usual garbled fashion) "Doctor Who was in first."
So now you've cross-posted the question to both a Dr Who group and a Star
Trek group, presumably because you're hoping for a flamewar.
Star Trek: The Cage will Christopher Pike as Captain.
You either have never seen the Cage or never watch The Menagerie.

That planet's name was *Talos*. Specifically Talos IV.

Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped.
Elbert Hubbard
I've seen both. The planet in the Cage was Telos IV.
If you know that Telos IV is mentioned in the Cage, you should know that the
Cage was completed in 1965 as a pilot and portions of it were used in the
Menagerie which was first broadcast in November 1966. Telos was first
mentioned in Tomb of the Cybermen which was broadcast in September 1967.
Can you do the maths Yads?
The planet in the Cage was not Telos. It was Talos IV.
Oops. That's "Talos IV" not "Telos IV"...
No wonder they sounded so familiar.
I will own up and say my mistake.
The first pilot was 1954.
BTW , my mistake. Sounds so similar.
I'm afraid you've just made another mistake. The Star Trek pilot was in
1964.
No Yads, the "first pilot" was not 1954. The Cage was the first pilot. It
was filmed in 1964. And it was completed in 1965, as I said above.
But at least it got us running around responding to him, which is what
the weird little troll had in mind when he started this thread I suppose.
and he made 8 of the 22 posts so he's keeping his post count
up,...........which is all he really cares about in life anyway.
That's a first! Well done!
Now what about all your other lies and false assertions?

I will relook if those are the roman numerals I saw.
You doubt therefore you are.
Still if that is the case DW is older and refined.
If you saw *those* Roman numerals in the credits you must have drunker
than a Lord.
It is NOT a valid date, idiot.
Don't push your luck sonny.........he can turn you into a frog !!

That's not a nice thing to say about Yads.
Is that before or after he walks on water?

Christianity.
Ignorant fuck.
Troll to frog? That is an insult to frogs.

Don't be so hard on yourself.
Got a soft spot for ignorant people then ?
Hang around a bit then. You never know, you might learn a bit.
They weren't. I doubt that any (serious) production has used those
Roman numerals.

He aimed too low.
And what exactly IS an ignorant fuck? Mistaking a woman's ear for her
vagina perhaps?
Synapses still backfiring?

And why not?..........after all he turned himself into a dozy cunt.
So ... if he wants to fight on that level I'll come down to it.
You were already there - that's why you missed.
Your "hands off" approach to solving problems in this newsgroup is
really quite intriguing.
It's true, though...
Just think of it as putting the agony into auntie.
I think he is being vaguer than that. He sees himself as someone who
can help but who does so by causing more pain.
An interesting person ... no doubt.
IF is better than smith + Sailsbury combined.
Yeah ... but he is still an acquired taste.
Sailsbury and smith are acquired loons.
LOL !!

I'm sure a lot of things in life are true. That doesn't give you a
moral right to talk about them though .... or does it ?
It is the truth.
