[BOOKS] S.C.E. eBook schedule

Last summer, Pocket debuted STAR TREK: S.C.E. (STARFLEET CORPS OF
ENGINEERS), an eBook-only sub-franchise conceived by John J. Ordover &
Keith R.A. DeCandido. Featuring the adventures of the the U.S.S. da
Vinci, S.C.E. features a team of engineering, computer, cultural, and
forensic specialists dealing with the technical problems of the STAR
TREK universe.

Five eBooks have been released thus far, available in Microsoft
Reader, Adobe, Glassbook, and other eBook formats from a variety of
online merchants (Amazon.com, BN.com, Peanut Press, etc.). They
include:

#1: THE BELLY OF THE BEAST by Dean Wesley Smith (introduces the
S.C.E., guest stars Geordi La Forge, and features Montgomery Scott)
#2: FATAL ERROR by Keith R.A. DeCandido (also featuring La Forge and
Scotty)
#3: HARD CRASH by Christie Golden (also featuring La Forge and Scotty)
#4: INTERPHASE Book 1 by Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore (a sequel to the
TOS episode "The Tholian Web")
#5: INTERPHASE Book 2 by Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore

Starting at the end of July, Pocket will release a new eBook a month:

July--#6: COLD FUSION by Keith R.A. DeCandido (guest starring Nog; a
tie-in to the DEEP SPACE NINE novels AVATAR and ABYSS)
August--#7: INVINCIBLE Book 1 by David Mack & Keith R.A. DeCandido (a
Sonya Gomez solo story)
September--#8: INVINCIBLE Book 2 by David Mack & Keith R.A. DeCandido
October--#9: THE RIDDLED POST by Aaron Rosenberg
November--#10: GATEWAYS Epilogue: HERE THERE BE MONSTERS by Keith R.A.
DeCandido (tie-in to the GATEWAYS crossover)
December--#11: CAVEAT EMPTOR by Ian Edgington

2002 will see new eBooks by Ward & Dilmore and DeCandido as well as a
variety of authors ranging from TREK veterans Dave Galanter & Greg
Brodeur and Robert Greenberger to relative newcomers Jeff Mariotte and
Scott Ciencin & Dan Jolley.

Plus, Pocket plans to release the first eight books in print form in
early 2002 in two volumes: HAVE TECH, WILL TRAVEL and MIRACLE WORKERS.
