Interest: Klingon Language, Culture, Role-Playing, etc.
Contact Person: Admiral Khur (Scott Kuhr) adm...@aol.com
Dues: $10/year
Description: KLAW Fourth Fleet is divided up, by geographical location, into
a number of chapters, called "ships". Each ship is "crewed" by the members
of that chapter. We do Klingon-related research and such things as prop-
making, costuming, fund-raising (we are hoping to work with a local PBS
station, for their fundraiser), as well as doing joint, science/Star Trek-
related programs with local museums, and Star Trek-oriented activities with
local Star Fleet/Federation-oriented clubs. Most of all, we have fun embracing
the Way of the Warrior. Qapla'!
Geographical Location: Southeastern U.S. (mainly Florida), but branching out
(we have a new group starting in Las Vegas, NV). New groups always welcome!

NANA VISITOR
ENVY is a fan club for Kira/Nana Visitor/DS9/Bajorans, not necessarily in
that order. ENVY isn't acronym for anything; it just stands for the sound of
Nana Visitor's initials. The club was formed in July 1993; the first issue
of our monthly newsletter "Invidius" was published in August 1993. As of
this writing there are over 100 of us, from the U.S., Canada, Europe, and
Australia. The newsletter is the point of contact for both the members and
Nana, who reads it closely and values our opinions (whatta gal! :D), but we
also meet up at conventions and have a really good time together.
To join you have to send me money: $8 if you're from the U.S., $10 if you're
from Canada, and $13 if you're from anywhere else, for an initial three month
membership period. Initial membership entitles you to three issues of
"Invidius." The newsletter contains episode reviews and info, opinions on
just about every aspect of DS9 but focusing primarily on Kira and Bajor, info
on Nana Visitor's non-Trek work, fan fiction, photos, artwork, ads for
conventions, fanzines, and other DS9 clubs, a large member bulletin board,
member news, and other fine things (whew!). Send the money (U.S. funds) to
me at ENVY, c/o Kimberley Junius, 2116 W. Garfield Blvd., Chicago, IL 60609
and I will promptly send you the current issue of Invidius.
I look forward to hearing from you. Take care.

Hi! Its great to hear that your are interrrested in Siddig El Fadil. He is
such a wonderful man and actor that is why we started this fan club for him.
DWR offers a wide variety of interesting infortion about Sid and his fans.
We have a quarterly newsletter that offers stories and columns on Sid or Dr.
Bashir. Our first issue was out this past January and it included the first
part of an original story by AOL's BLack Mac. It also had episode and book
reviews. There were two convention reports both on Sid's first two
conventions. We have pictures and art work and lots other information. Our
second issue is centered on Sid's acting in the PBS movie A Dangerous Man.
Issue three soon to be out is centered on our "Lunch with the Doctor" this
Sept 11 in Phoenix, Ax. Come join us in membership and get invovled in all
the fun and excitement. If this Sept.'s event goes well we will contimue to
do this every year as long as Sid wishes.
A one year membership in DWR is $20.00 [$25.00 canada and overseas]. This
includes the quarterly newsletter and a membership packet. I have lots of
plans to offer new items to the members every chance I get. If you want to
have a copy of our first newsletter I am selling them for $5.00 each. Just
send me a check or money order and I will ship one to posthast.
