Well, Voyager is in Delta Quadrant, home of our dear friends, the Borg. I know
that Berman has said "nix" on the Borg in Voyager, but I say WHY NOT?!?!

Consider this: What if we learn that the female caretaker is actually
responsible for the creation of the Borg? WHat if it turns out she has died,
like the male caretaker, but resides as a program manifested throughout the
Borg collective, and as such could be called up through any ##Borg's memory.
(Like the Internet, she could not be destroyed) Fascinating, hm? Of course this
is a bit of a stretch, but it's time to deal witht he Borg's origins, a subject
that has been the fascination of many for years.. Perhaps we might also get a
trip to the "machine planet" that was in Delta Quadrant (and visited by Voyager
6)!
