This has been bothering me for a few months now, and I'm finally getting a
chance to vent it.

Why has Paramount ignored DS9 on the Internet? This is in direct reference
to the existance of a official STAR TREK VOYAGER page, in existance since
the show started up. No DS9 'offical' page.

Not that there is a lack of good DS9 pages out there, Vidiot's TREK pages
are great as are others. But i would like to be able to download quicktime
movies of the new episode previews, Get sound clips MADE for the Web page..
and see all the hype that Voyager has been getting, however UNEARNED it has
been.

Its not really a wonder why DS9 isn't as popular in terms of mass audience,
when MOST don't even know its still ON THE AIR.
Come on Paramount.

"DO SOMETHING!"

There is an "official" page dealing with DS9. I don't have the address
with me, but if you have Netscape just search for Paramount.
It was there that I first learned of Worf's posting to DS9.

As far as I know, there is. Infact it just went up, I saw the web
site posted here but I can't remember what it is.

Could anyone post it again, please?

Since I don't even *know* what Microsoft Network is, you're right, it's a
stupid move. Especially since it makes me wonder if that will limit access
to just those people running Windows 95. That cuts out a lot of people,
folks.

I for one, run a MacIntosh. I have a PC, but it runs Unix. If they don't
put DS9 stuff on the internet, but confine it to Microsoft Network, chances
are I won't be able to access it. Sometimes Paramount's marketing skills
(or lack thereof) amaze me.

Oh they're going to do something all right, but it isn't going to be on the

Internet. Paramount Digital, the group responsible for this kind of stuff,
has signed on to put all of the Star Trek properties and Entertainment
Tonight on MSN (MiscroSoft Network).

As far as I am concerned, that is a stupid fucking move.

For some strange reason they do not have a link on their main page.
