It's a so-so fake.

The other day on the local news there was a story about how computer
junkies can take a picture of someone's body and superimpose a famous
person's face onto that body. I think some...@outer.space did this to
Kate Mulgrew - its her face but not her body.
Don't spose anyone could repost it...

Would you believe that some turkey got up to the mike in Detroit and
told Kate that someone he knows saw a nude photo of her? Kate, being
the incredibly poised and elegant person that she is didn't rip the
idiot apart but did tell him that such an occurrence was impossible as
she had never posed nude or done a nude scene. Sometimes I really
wonder what possesses people when they ask actors dumb things like
that.

Please do not post binaries to de.rec.sf.startrek.

Sounds like she prepares herself for those kind of occurences. She
handled that the best way anyone could, by not letting it get to her.
She probably startled the *turkey* you mentioned by responding
intelligently. As they say, ask a stupid question...
As to what possesses people to ask those kind of questions, they do it
to see the response on the actor's/actres' face. So when Kate didn't
have any reaction, and responded like that he must have felt like the
idiot he is. I'm surprised he could do it in front of anyone, no
matter what Kate's response was. For no matter how she responded,
people are going to think that he's the idiot for asking the question
rather than seeing how Kate responds as he might have thought.
P.S. There is no picture as stated above, obviously. Just wanted to
state acurately what was posted before, that it definately was NOT
Kate Mulgrew but some fake. I wouldn't dare post a binary in a
non-binary group. Don't want to get flamed.

Double-Ouch! And a piss-poor one, at that!
Mulgrew has more dignity, IMHO.......
