Nana Visitor on MacGyver........

I was watching WGN on Direct TV the other night, they're showing
MacGyver reruns. Guess who shows up, Nana Visitor aka Major Kira. She
plays the wife of a former oil well firefighter turned driller. She
really looks funny as a blonde.

Masked Man----->My favorite Nana Visitor role - excluding Kira - was
as Ellen Dolan opposite Sam Jones' Spirit in the Spirit movie. She
wasnt bad, and neither was the movie, though I doubt it had much mass
appeal....

That's nothing. I had a really surreal experience in Cleveland. I turned on
the TV and MacGyver was in King Arthur's court, trying to protect Merlin
from being framed for murder. Arthur was some old fat bastard. The low
budget really showed. Unfortunately it was a two parter so I never found out
if MacGyver ever made it back to his time :-)

Nana was in two MacGyver episodes.
"MacGyver" (1985) playing "Laura Farren" in episode: "Hellfire" (episode #
1.7) 11/17/1985 that is the one i think your talking about where she is a
blonde and Bacgver helps them fight an oil fire as only Macgyver can.

This is the second episode

(episode # 2.21) 4/27/1987

And speaking of Nana having blonde hair. Nana was in an episode of Hunter tv
series with blonde hair and a hair style that seemed to change with every

Maybe not, but as a long-time Spirit fan, I loved it. And she was a
blond in that one too. Weird thing, since The Spirit came out before DS9, I
didn't know who Nana Visitor was at the time, so it was only on seeing it on
tape mach later that I recognized a familiar voice and took a closer look.
OTOH, I had pretty much the same reaction inthe same circumstance with
Patrick Stewart in I, Claudius (well, Stewart with all that curly hair was a
fair dinkum disguise...)
