I hope you aren't planning to sell your novel to Bantam. I read in a
novel that the only way to get a Star Trek novel published through them,
and they hold the copyright, is to: have written other books which have
already been published, and then to have your agent submit the ST book to
them.FYI

Um, who are you talking to? I don't recall that anyone said they had a
novel in the works, unless I missed a post (which is always possible).
The discussion was of novels already in print.

owned by Paramount) that has the stranglehold on Star tTrek novels.
Bantam had it during the 70's and still reprints the ones it controls.
And yes, you do need an agent. Its pretty much a closed club now. :-(
