Um, who are you talking to? I don't recall that anyone said they had a
novel in the works, unless I missed a post (which is always possible).
The discussion was of novels already in print.
These days its Pocket Books (Owned by Simon and Schuster who are in turn
owned by Paramount) that has the stranglehold on Star tTrek novels.
Bantam had it during the 70's and still reprints the ones it controls.
And yes, you do need an agent. Its pretty much a closed club now. :-(
