Voyager will have a better life expectancy if the networks would
move it! They are trying to show voyager and DS9 and ST:TNG all in the
same time slot on the same day and its killing all of them! Either they
move the shows to different time slots or they will kill startrek all
together because trekies will go elsewhere and wait till the fighting
stops and whoever survives will be the one they will watch.

Ummm I think you have a local programming problem and not a network
problem. Both TNG and DS9 are syndicated shows that show when whichever
channel bought them wants to put them on. Voyager is pretty much the
same way although they call it a Network show to appease the UPN cowd.
You need to bitch to your station and not Paramount.

I don't know where you're posting from, but this sounds like a problem
unique to your area. In Denver, Voyager airs Mondays at 7p, Deep
Space Nine Saturdays at 8p, and TNG every weeknight at 10:30p. No
conflicts here. I think Monday at 7 is a good time, matter of fact, I
*think* it's supposed to be one of the best slots in the week for this
sort of show. Much better than DS9, which I always have to tape
because I'm never home on Saturday night.

Maybe you need to talk to your local stations about this.

You might be a bit confused here. DS9 is syndicated, Voyager is
a UPN network broadcast. Voyager's timeslot is more or less
fixed at Mondays at 8:00pm EST, DS9 has no timeslot...it's wherever
your local affiliate decided to place it. If there is a scheduling
conflict, it's because your local affiliate that carries DS9
positioned it opposite Voyager. (For example, in Boston DS9 is
on Saturdays at 7:00pm EST.)

Contact your DS9 affiliate with your complaints, but don't slam
Paramount for something they have no control over.

Agreed. DS9 airs on Wednesday in my area. However, Voyager running on
Monday night, opposite the last part of Monday Night Football, would appear
to be a rather dumb move to me. I did not watch the last Harry Kim
episode, because the game seemed to be the better show.

The fighting must me in your market, since it is not a national problem.

Voyager is a UPN product that airs on Monday nights (on primary UPN
stations). DS9 is a syndicated product. If DS9 is on at the same time
as Voyager in your market, you need to bitch at the station that airs
DS9, since the Voyager station can't move it. If Voyager is on at a time
other than Monday night, then either station can move it.

Sounds like one or two dumb program directors in your market.
