They are her real eyes. Take a look at some of the movies she has been
in (The Wicked Lady, Blind Date, Death Wish III[or so I am told]).

According to an interview with Sirtis from a magazine I cannot remember
for the life of me, they're contacts, and she gets annoyed because
Spiner gets all the sympathy - people notice his more, and he plays on
it a bit...
Actually, as far as I recall black irises are impossible (in humans
anyway) although I'm not sure. Mine went black after I was hit in the
eye by a projectile and it bled internally. I don't think that counts
though.

Some people, like me, have very dark brown eyes and they are so dark that
they do look black. Mine look black unless you stare at them for a long,
long, looooong time and try to find the pupil. The difference in colors is
very faint.

Twas an ordinary day, not so long ago, when the squirrels planned to take over
the world. Try and try they did but no success. They had nuts in excess,
rocks and sticks galore but squirrels are small furry creatures. They still
Does anyone have a list of movies that the cast of ST:TNG have been in?
This might make an excellent addition to a FAQ guide.

Wrong, wrong. Sirtis has lighter color eyes in real life. Both she and
Majel Barrett as Lwaxana Troi wear black contact lenses.

After seeing all the postings about Troi's eyes, a possible connection
occurred to me. Anyone out there remember the JAL empath in David Gerrold's
*Star Skimmer*? She had totally black eyes, and wore glasses to hide them,
since they supposedly disturbed people.

Oh, bloody hell. What happened to my commentary?
Never mind. What I said was, I don't see why Sirtis OR Spiner are
complaining about their contacts. Soft colored contacts are quite
comfortable if fitted properly and kept clean and lubricated. If
they're having problems, they ought to talk to the ophthalmologist
Paramount is using--this doesn't sound normal.
Either that, or they're whining for attention. Which is possible.

Seemed pretty succinct to me. You made your point known with a minimum of
bandwidth... 8^) 8^) Of course, I'm not claiming that I *understood* it,
mind you... 8^)

She wears the dark conatcts, too. I think her eyes are, in fact, blue.

Contacts or not....I wouldn't mind looking into them!!!!!!

If I saw a picture of Sirtis out of costume, the __last__ thing I'd
look at would be her eyes....
....so I'm sexist......sue me!
