Q, Voyager, and The Doctor

To the author of the article who suggested that Q make The Doctor real (sorry, I
accidentally deleted it) - GREAT IDEA!!!! I think he is an amazing character and is
really limited by his present holographic status. Asking Q to send them home is a
bit much, as this would completely destroy the premise of the series, but making The
Doctor real is within the realm of possibility. Of course it won't happen, but we
can dream.

It sounds a lot like a version of "The Wizard of Oz"

Dorothy (Voyager) in an entirely new place and wants to go home.
The Doctor (The Tin Man) wants to be real (have a heart).

And Q (The Wizard) can help them.
... actually the Other Caretaker is the Wizard...

I suppose the Kazon will be in the role of The Wicked Witch of the West.
Neelix is... the Scarecrow or the Cowardly Lion...
