Request for Title : One Man's Vote

time ago. I believe it was written by a "big" name, possibly even
Asimov.
I think the name was "One Man's Vote" or "The Last Vote" or something
like that, but I haven't had any luck searching on those titles.
The story goes that in the far future computers are processing the
votes to install a new government for the planet (or galaxy). Using
advanced algorithms the computers have been able to predict all the
billions of votes, so that it all comes down to the actual vote of one
single man... the story follows this man during the day as he makes his
momentuous decision.
Sorry for the lack of details, hopefully it's enough to trigger
someone's recollection... many thanks in advance.

Are you kidding? If everyone had that much detail, we'd be batting 1,000.

Interesting that it's set in 2008. Fifty years ago it must have seemed
an appropriately distant date... :)
