I beg to disagree. ‘High Energy Theology’ has already been extensively
documented, by, among others, Thor Odinson, Zeus Chronusson, Ògún
Lákáayé,Huracan, Shiva (and his wife, Kali) and, of course, YHWH.

The variant that would worry me is _experimental_ theology

YHWH and Zeus and Brahma were active there, too. (Zeus in particular liked to
‘experiment’ with sweet young things of any gender.) And Huitzilopochtli
and Anansi, come to think of it dabbled in experimentation, and not
Zeus-style experiments, either. Both Coyote and Anansi would try almost
anything once, so long as they thought that it was funny. _You_ might not
think that it was funny, especially if Coyote was behind it, but they would.

Isn't all theology experimental?

(Note: Let's especially avoid the Aztec variety.)

I'd say it is all theoretical.

Now, subjecting ghodz to destructive testing would be fun.
"Astrotheology" doesn't trip off the tongue the way "Xenotheology" does,
but it's a valid coinage.

Only until you preach it to someone else. And is it really religion
if you don't share it?
