WoT: Man in Shagar Logoth

In the 8th book Rand returns to Shagar Logoth to destroy Sammael after leaping
there from Illian. After being attacked by Sammael and almost being swallowed
do you think the man who rescued him was figure similar to a Shaidar Haran for
the Creator or possibly Asmodian since the man was drawing the True Power.

Ok, Asmodean is DEAD. RJ has confirmed it many times. Also, most people agree
that the Wanderer (as he calls himself) is most likely Moridin in disguise
(read the FAQ, lots of good stuff in there). Besides, didn't the Creator say
that 'only the chosen one can do what must be done' at the end of tEotW? (who
else could that voice have been? So it's unlikely that the Creator decided to
intervene in human affairs.
