He would not have stood for this.
I know! You should write a 1500 page expose on how Robert Jordan would
have been anti-Obama. You should quote heavily from his work in order
to prove to the American public that a dead writer of perhaps only
slightly better than average fiction would have disapproved of a
political figure. I'm sure the Republicans would hail you as their
savior! I'm nearly incontinent in anticipation!
Until they realized that the 1500-page expose was merely the
first volume of a long-running series, each volume more
peripatetic and confusing than the last, which would end only
several years after the OP was dead.

Who the hell cares what a hack writer of soporific doorstops would think
about any politician? Certainly not me.

And yet, you swallowed the troll's hook, even though it didn't even
have a worm on it.

The worm is there, but everyone's ignored it.
"anti-Obama: "Southern" "discrimination" Geez, how obvious can you
get?
It's so obvious, it's the hook. <Matrix>There is no worm.</Matrix>
But given how stupid most of the reuglars here are, a worm would be
a waste anyway. The fish around here jump in to the boat, grab the
oar, and beat themselve to death for you.
Well, that gives us something to look forward to.

It is more on topic than some of the discussions that go on here. At
least OP mentioned a published SF writer.
Anyway, somebody who fought the fascists in Spain would never vote
Republican.
Mentioned a SF writer? Who?
Granted. So it's an on-topic troll, instead of the usual completely
retarded troll. The fish are still waiting for their turn with the
oar.
Speaking of trolls . . .
"Robert Jordan" was a genteel man who at the end of book 11, married Mat
to the dark skinned (and amazingly smart) Daughter of the Nine Moons.
I think Mr. Rigney would like Sen. Obama for his intelligence and
eloquence, both of which are lacking in the incumbent.

That's political correctness for ya. You don't get on the NYT bestsellers
list by being a dummy, you know.
