Hmmm. I seem to remember RJ saying some years back that he would
never consent to a movie - because without serious cutting the movies
would be 16-18 hrs each. Still, I think justice could be done to
TEOTW in a 3 hr piece, particularly if one looks at the way Peter
Jackson approached LOTR. The whole series is another story but
presumably they won't think about that unless the first film has
success.
