Using a stand-in shouldn't work. Why wouldn't the police just say "maybe
he got a stand-in to make himself look innocent"? It's not like Oliver is
the only person in the world who can think of that idea.

Not many would think of that and even with the few that do, what
evidence is there to say that Oliver arranged it? None, so it will
produce more than reasonable doubt in Oliver's trial.
