Presuming I interpreted this correctly.... All the nets consider Live
plus 7 (live viewing plus 7 days on DVR or online streaming) to be the
"advertiser rating" so they have 2.6 million viewers that advertisers
are paying for. That's why Neilsen tracks the plus 7 numbers.

I think that's what fans are wanking, either way Howe tells Forbes
"...we are the No. 1 DVRed network period and that's a challenge from a
monetization perspective"
Ie, DVR is worth shit - people just fast forward past the commercials
and everybody knows it (spin to the opposite not withstanding).

I like it too. I like that space exploration is new and exciting to
these people, and that the main dangers they face are space itself, not
a bunch of bad guys.
The thing I like the least is the little dance that Eli and Chloe are

What show have you been watching? Rush is the only one who is excited
about space exploration, the rest just sit around whining that they want

It just dawned on me that the "Sam & Diane" or "Dave & Maddie" act they
are doing is the exact opposite of "Romeo & Juliet". Romeo and Juliet
declared their love for one another and then had to struggle to
overcome the obstacles keeping them apart. There is no obstacle for Eli
and Chloe to overcome except their own expectations. They are both
smart enough that they should be able to see what's going on and Chloe
at least ought to be bold enough to act.
But maybe she sees herself as an alpha female who is bound by convention
to belong to an alpha male, in this case Scott. But in this day and age,
she should be offended by the very suggestion that this convention
applies to her, or the one that makes her have to wait for him to make
the first move.
But now Eli moves up the hierarchy. If Rush is gone, Eli moves into his
spot as top genius that everyone turns to to solve every problem and
Scott is SOL.

I generally don't like a standard enemy, mostly because it hasn't really
been done well (with B5 the possibly exeception).
But i guess they focus will mostly be on the 'crew' of the Destiny and
not any external danger.
Though I am mildly curious about one future aspect i've been spoiled
about.

No, I think I am saying the opposite - everyone trusts the autopilot
now. But mainly that they still have their sense of wonder and when
something spectacular is happening they look out the windows.
Compare to the Babylon 5 season 5 episode where the two maintenance men
are working and happen to look out the window to see a huge battle
going
on. After a quick glance, they go back to work and figure they'll learn
everything they need to know about the battle when they suddenly find
themselves trying to breath vacuum.

I thought the Klingons were a pretty good enemy most of the time. They
had an understandable goal other than just causing mayhem or thwarting
the heroes' plans. That's what make a good Big Bad, having a different
definition of good and believing that they are doing good by that
definition.

he should get lighter - assuming they are going to be "realistic" ;)

That sounds good in theory, but it doesn't work for people who have been
chronically overweight for long periods. If you have dieted off and on
several times your body becomes very efficient at utilizing input
calories. I know people who can cut way back on eating and still not
lose any weight. People in that situation have to go on a starvation
diet to lose weight.
