I liked the kid! I was looking forward to his cute pet snacking on some of
his fellow classmates. It would have been better if they'd made the raising
of the creature more of a spoof on boy with dog movies.

Another thing to consider would be that lots of people saw the pilot for 'V'
before it aired on TV, though. So, that 29% drop is lower than the drop
would have been had all of the first episode viewers seen the pilot when it
aired. 'V' looks to be taking a hard fall. Luckily for 'V', it started out
from the nosebleed ratings section.

It's the show 'Defiling Gravity' would be if DG had more regulars,
fewer abortions, worse writers, and no budget for lighting.
Remember, you can't spell "disgust" without SGU!
