BB is an old pro, no question. Partial list:
"How the West Was Won," long mini-series now replaying on one of the cable
channels, also stars James Arness as crusty old mountain man. BB has a
1970's haircut.
"Bring 'Em Back Alive," about a half season's worth of Indiana Jones-like
1930's adventure set in India. BB as big game hunter Frank Buck, who was a
real person and did write a book called "Bring 'Em Back Alive" if your
library has a good out-of-print collection. Both book & series great fun.
"The Gambler" etc. -- series of made for tv Westerns starring Kenny
Rogers. BB is his rash but faithful sidekick & junior partner.

Actually, I believe Tron was played by Kurt Russell. It was
definitely not Bruce Boxleitner. He was, however, in S&MK.
Also, if your will remember the TV series "Scarecrow and Mrs. King" he was
"Scarecrow".

Bruce Boxleitner was in `Scarecrow and Mrs. King' and `Tron'. He was
interviewed in an issue of Starlog. I forgot the exact one, but it was from
this year I think. Maybe February. It covered up to at least "All Alone in The
Night".

Bruce Boxleitner definitely played Tron. And the converse human, of
course.
Tron, btw, was the title character, but _not_ the main character. The
main character (I forget his name) was the guy who got lasered into the
computer. He was played by Jeff Bridges.

Bruce B. played two characters - one in the "real world" who was the
programmer who wrote the "Tron" program and the title character, Tron
(Duh!) in the "computer world". Jeff Bridges, not Kurt Russell (even
if there are similarities - anybody ever seen them at the same place
at the same time?), played Flynn (in both the "real world" and in the
"computer world").

He played an adventure seeker in an Indiana Jones spinoff called "Bring Them
Back Alive" for two seasons. This was on at the same time as "Tales of the
Gold Monkey", another show spawned from the Indiana Jones phenomenon.
He did NOT play the roll as the sidekick in "Fall Guy". The actor
who did eludes me at the momenbt, but I've seen the show within the past
two months and it was not Bruce.

I'm kinda surprised no one has noted that Peter Jurasik is also in TRON.
Although his screen time is short, and I don't think he has any scenes with BB, he *is* there.
I believe he plays an 'accounting program' who 'works at a savings and loan' brought to the jail
area inside the computer just after Jeff Bridges gets brought inside. He quickly gets killed on the
game board. (The discs, not the lightbikes...)

Tron was played by Bruce Boxleitner, who also played his user. Jeff Bridges
played Flynn, a user who got caught in the computer system. And David
Warner played Sark, the MCP's right hand program. Another note, Peter
Jurasik played a building and loan program in that movie.

It was Doug Barr. In later in his career his credits show him as Douglas
Barr.
I knew who you were talking about, and, when I wasn't absolutely sure of the
name, I went to my archives and pulled out an episode tape from the series
*The Wizard* in which he co-starred with David Rappaport. It was an
action-adventure/skiffy cross. It wasn't B5, but it wasn't too bad. More
like *MacGyver* on laughing gas.
One of the hazards of trying to write television shows for a living is that
you wind up with some interesting odds and ins in your files and sometimes
left over research materials which is how I could look it up so easily. I
already liked the three leads (Fran Ryan played housekeeper to Rappaport's
scientist and Barr's government bodyguard for said scientist), and I thought
it was past time Doug Barr received equal billing for his work. I was
working on a spec. script to try and sell to the show for its second season,
but it went in the dead script file when the show was cancelled. David
Rappaport went on to *L. A. Law* and was working there when he committed
suicide, Fran Ryan is currently doing commercials among other things, but I
can't remember seeing Doug Barr in anything lately.
Does this help any?

Tron was played by Bruce, Jeff Bridges played the hacker drawn into the
computer by Master Control (Floyd I think). I guess the problem is
whether
you confuse who was in the real world, with who isn't. Bruce also played
the programmer of Tron.
