BACON: "Babylon 5" cast
Ed Dravecky III
(Lennier) Mumy would be the first "Star Trek" and "Lost in Space"
regulars, respectively, to share the small screen.
But since the entire movie universe is linked to Kevin Bacon,
just how many "Babylon 5" and TOS "Star Trek" actors can be
Baconized? Just to make it harder, no use of the "Star Trek"
movies may be made for a link!
For example:
Billy Mumy was in "Twilight Zone: The Movie" with
John Lithgow who was in "Footloose" with
KEVIN BACON!
Walter Koenig was in "Moontrap" with
Bruce Campbell who was in "Congo" with
Ernie Hudson who was in "Ghostbusters" with
Dan Akroyd who was in "The Blues Brothers" with
John Belushi who was in "Animal House" with
KEVIN BACON!
Heck, Stephen Furst was IN "Animal House" with
KEVIN BACON!
And Patricia Tallman was in "Army of Darkness" with
Bruce Campbell whose path is detailed above.

You can save a step because Jennifer Jason Leigh was in
"The Big Picture" with Kevin Bacon. They were actually

to your question is "Common consent, because it's unnecessary."
Another, even stricter rule, is that the persons mentioned
in a link must have a scene together - e.g., Peter Jurasik and
Bruce Boxleitner are not a valid direct link in Tron since they
had no scenes together (you have to go via Jeff Bridges.)
(Not that I like that rule much - it just extends the chain
by a link or two for the most part...)
And, of course, it's a matter of honor to avoid, if possible, the
Baconizer - JFK. (Again, it just makes it *so* easy that it's
hardly fun anymore.)
In any case, I'm pretty sure that Jeff can be done much more quickly
via Grease. Isn't Elizabeth Perkins in that? That's a one step link
through She's Having a Baby. If she isn't, then at least John
Travolta is, and I'm SURE that there's a chain from him.
